If you were a German NCO or Officer during World War 2, chances are you were carrying a MP38/40 and a pair of these pouches! With 6 individual cells you could carry a total of 6 mags and a loading tool on the left most pouch. Each pouch flap is secured with a strap that buttons onto a snap stud. A considerate feature is another leather strap that the slotted one slips under to prevent accidental opening from popping off the stud. The backing has dual leather straps on a 45° angle which you can run your web belt through. An extra pair of straps with D-rings allow these to attach to suspenders to maintain their positioning.
