The X800 LITE boasts another standout technology with the HyperLite HD Foam spine guard. This premium foam reduces weight, improves protection and prevents water absorption to keep the pad lightweight. The rest of the protection typically uses anatomically-molded plastic inserts that are reinforced with thick medium-density foams. 

Internally, Bauer used their pro-inspired internal belt system and new Sanitized liner technology. Unlike traditional external belts, this modern design gives players a more secure fit around the hips, better comfort, and a more responsive feel.
